My Big Day

Today felt like Christmas came early! It started with breakfast in bed with Mom while we watched a movie together (Daddy played basketball for a couple of hours so mom and I slept in till 8 am)! Mom and I got our chores done before Daddy got home so that we'd be ready to go out together. Dad took us to the Disney Store where I found my CINDERELLA HALLOWEEN COSTUME (pictures to come later this month). It is PERFECT and I LOVE IT! I also got a beautiful Cinderella night gown because I had been such a good helper all day and very politely asked Dad if we could get it.

After another quick stop we returned home for a nap (today I actually felt tired enough to sleep for several hours). My nap put me in GREAT SPIRITS and because I got a good rest in, Mom and Dad said I could stay up a little later than the sunshine. We went to Big Al's for the first time where we got to play games, bowl and have a yummy dinner (macaroni and cheese for me). I scored more points bowling than my Mommy and almost beat my Daddy, thanks to the bumpers and a ramp that helped my ball pick up speed. When we were all done we played one last game called "Deal or No Deal" for $1.00. Dad let me pick our personal suitcase and guess what, we won 100 tickets!! With my tickets I was able to buy a princess crown and magic wand at the prize booth. I also got to pick out 4 candies and a purple pencil. It was like CHRISTMAS and now my Cinderalla costume is fully complete.

If this wasn't enough of a great day, it ended even better when we got home. I decided I needed to go potty all by myself on the toilet before I put on my Cinderalla nightgown. I did it!! Then, Mom and Dad had to let me wear my big girl panties since that's the deal when I go potty. They were so nervous because it was night time, but they put an extra towel on my bed and let me go to sleep. Here's a short video so that you can see my new PJs and how excited I was about my day!

P.S. I kept my panties dry ALL NIGHT and went potty first thing in the morning -- in the toilet! No more diapers for me.
